i was wondering if it was possible to put acura RSX seats onto a 4th gen prelude, and if any1 has pics of any1 who has done it

 

Not sure; would like to know, though; I was about to put a set of Celica GT-S seats, but ran outta $$$ before I could.

Ya they made them with leather. It seems like most of them are up north though.

 

wow, arent u imauture. like shakes said, dont flame people with ideas. thats what being original is all about. i like the RSX bucket seats cuz they really hold u in. my friend had an rsx and it was so nice to drive it cuz it sucked u right in. hopefully some1 knows if they will fit or not, and wont be an *** like megaman and flame people.

 

i just recently put RSX seats in my civic, it sits you too high, i also own a prelude, and i know the prelude seats are alot lower than civics with integra seats, and i garantees you that it will be too awful to sit in way too high, i had to drill 3 holes for each seat to bolt them into the civic, prob the same for preludes. i am debating if i should go back to integra seats with the civic.....

 

You have to think about the price too the RSX has side airbags so they'll cost more. They do sit a little different too. For the money you'd spend getting the RSX seats you can by a real nice set of racing seats.

 

i actually had put 2002 celica seats in my prelude (1999)... it sits lower than the OEM prelude seats. it takes about 3-4 hours to modify the bracket to fit.. a lot of test fitting must be done.. (take seat in... take seat out.. etc.etc).

Comfort factor on celica seats are MUCH better. day and night almost vs. the prelude seats.

wouldnt be too hard with RSX seats.

speaking of which.. i'm selling my celica seats for $250.00 houston pick up.
