How Realiable Is Your Prelude????????????
Ok I was loking to possiably buy a 92-96 honda prelude vtec with roughly 80-100k miles on it. Will I have any major mechiancal problem. Does anyone have any experiances of high miled prelude and stuff like that. any information would be great
I can't say whether you'll have problems with your car, but in general preludes are very reliable, as are most hondas. One of my teachers had a prelude live to over 250k miles.
You definitely want to have your mechanic look over the car you're about to buy and run tests on the engine and check its condition.

Considering that Honda's are the most reliable cars it doesnt matter how many miles as much as keeping your motor in good working order and doing little tune ups and oil changes. Go buy a car manual by Chilton's and they will tell you everything you need to replace to keep it in good working order.
Don't get a chilton's manual. Spend the extra money and get a helms. http://www.helminc.com It will tell you EVERYTHING you need to know... plus some.
They sound pretty good to me. I was wondering what things I should have looked at if I am buying a 92-96 prelude with around 80-120k what is the typicla things that should get replaced and at what miles.
