hrm... can i say.. idiot?
as long as your car does not knock and ping.. youre fine. higher octane fuel (that is un-needed) is a foolish waste of money. because the richer mixture won't do **** for you car. just use the whatever octane gas is recommended for your RSX (i think it's 91).

First of all, the K20A2 uses a knock sensor, meaning that the engine may run just fine on lower octane fuel but it will be making less power due to the ECU retarding timing.
Second, the air/fuel ratio is not affected in the least by the octane rating of gasoline. The engine will not run richer with higher octane. Octane is the measurement of the ratio of 5-ring to 6-ring hydrocarbons in the fuel. 6-ring hydrocarbons are more stable than 5-ring hydrocarbons, which means that a fuel with a higher ratio of 6-ring hydrocarbons is less prone to detonation.
I like texaco 91 myself.
It works fine here during the 110 degree summers. I'm assuming your running a fairly stock engine in a milder climate, so I don't think you'll need octane higher than 91. You'll be wasting money buying higher octane gas.
