Is it safe?

Is it safe to have your vtec to crossover at 3000 if its meant to be at 5200 or 5500?

yeah you can have it cross over whenever you want but it good to have it up higher because its not meant for lower rpms to say the least but the good thing is when you shift you don't fall out of vtec

I've read on here that is very bad to do that. i think it consumes oil wayyy to fast or it kills your valvetrain or somen. just make it go up to 500.
