Default ? for the prelude guys

well i have a buddy that has a 96 lude and he bought some cheap ebay coilovers and i installed them today and for some reason the back sits a little higher then the front and the coilovers seem in the same position the front is practically no wheel gap and the back has about .5" of a wheel gap? does the back usually sit higher? thanks

you get what you pay for, it should be the opposite if he got real coilovers. i know what he can do to solve the problem. throw a bangin system in the trunk, it'll lower the rear end a bit more. but if he can't afford it, put somethin heavy in the trunk like: a dead body, toolbox, weights, 50lb rice bag...etc or just have some fat chicks sit in the back at all times when he ridin. puhaha

it has to do with the shape of the car itself... the back will almost always look higher.. but if you actually measure it from the ground i'd be willing to bet that the car is level.... but always measure from the ground not looking at the wheel well. anyway.... honda built the car that way to give it an aggressive stance...

id rather have the front lower than the rear... on my setup my car is higher on the front than on the rear by a little.
