anyone put a crx exhaust on a hatch???

Default anyone put a crx exhaust on a hatch???

from what i have read they are diffent....but in what way?????
what has to be done to the crx exhaust to get it to work on my 90 hatch?
i am looking at getting the greddy mx exhaust....cause of price,performance and look......what are you guys opinions on this exhaust?

The CRX is shorter than the Civic. So the exhaust won't fit up correctly.

The CRX is shorter than the Civic. So the exhaust won't fit up correctly.
i thought the crx was longer.......maybe i am wrong
so is this something that a muffler shop could do??????

Yeah, they could probably cut it and add a little of their own piping and it should work out allrite.

i read about this somewhere cuz i was thinking about doing it. you need to add either 6 or 7" long piping to the crx exhaust to fit on the hatch.

I ended up with a custom axle back from a crx and it bolted up just fine to my hatchback in the right place and everything.

The mid pipe is the pipe that is shorter on the CRX. So axle back exhausts fit fine its when you get a cat back where you run into problems but nothing that adding in a pipe wouldnt cure. It shouldnt be too expensive to take it to the shop to have them add in the right lenght.
