Maximum rev Capabilities on H22a Closed Deck FRM stock sleeves..
using .25 over type-s pistons with squirters.. what would be the maximum rev limit before any block integraty movement and possibly of cracking sleeves damaging everything..
95 Closed Dech h22a block with mods.
-ACT extreme clutch and street disc
-Clutchmasters 9 pound flywheel
-Pro-Drive USA oilpump gear
-Probe rods
-Type-S pistons (0.25 over)
-stock harmonic balancer
-Balance shaft removed and capped.
-bottom end competely balanced with all these parts listed above.
will this take 9500rpm possibly 10k... i need to know, have a complete crower stage 3 head and waiting results to see if block can or can`t.. next is TWM ITBS and then IMS... so i need to know this...
the rest will be dyno tuning in spring with a wideband and then fun at the track..
shell is a 96 EK hatchbach.

I don't think the block is the problem.
First off you are completely insane if you think you can spin an H22a even past 9000 rpms. Go buy a B16 if you want to do that.
Balanced and Lightened whatever at 9000 rpms you will likely have severe oiling issues, water pump cavitation, snap your crank, not to mention piston speeds of the long stroke will probably spin a bearing in 5000 kilometres....
8500 is the highest I would even consider...

i hope you have ALL the balancer shaft journals plugged up.Or else you will have no oil pressure to the head.8000 is the safesti believe for a daily driver...especially since you are removing the balancer shafts.
