Default ITR Valves?

I think my valves are bent so im in the maket for valves...i dont wanna get stainless because then i have to get brass guides..and like everyone else -im short on cash...i noticed that http://www.inlinefour.com sells ITR 'intake' valves but not the exhaust side...is this because all the B-series (vtec) valves are the same???
Im planning on doing Port & Polish, ITR valves, Crower valve springs & titanium retainers...anyone wanna give me an estiment including the labor? Or what do you guys think i should do???? Your reasonable set-up?

For a port/polish??? I would recommend Portflow... That's where all my stuff and my friend's stuff goes... Tom does an awesome job.. check them out at http://www.portflow.com/frame.htm They normally charge around $900

Yea normally we just get the Portflow inners added in.... With my friend's race head on his 84mm bore LSVTEC he revs it to 9500 just fine... His best is an 11.4@117... It is capable of more cuz with his hybrid tranny he was finishing at the beginning of 4th...

Handle 10,000 RPM on CTR cams???
the springs might handle 10000rpm but will those CTR cams make power anywhere near 10krpm?..............i highly doublt it...........get a set of JUN 3's or Toda Spec C/D's then maybe........

no use in reving the **** out of the engine if you dont make any power up that high.....all your gonna do is just wear it out sooner.....

what kinda motor you have?

itr intakes usually run about 16 and exhaust is 32

for some reason honda wants to charge alot

I went with rev ss lighweight valves

got them from dyno spot racing for 220 or so

if you want to upgrade vavle train as well, you will save major money by just upgrading to an itr head. it will cost 2x to upgade your head with itr internals. i learned it the hard way

I agree with you totally... The motor is capable of reving that high but even with all those cams getting power up there isn't going to be as easy as poping them in... TUNING is everything if you want power up there... Even with JUN3's I begin to feel a drop off at about 8800 or so... Then when you go up to the TodaC/D's you have lift and duration to make a little more power... Even with Erick's Racing using Toda D's in their car they still get a drop off right before 10,000rpm... I figure most people have seen this but i'll put it up anyways... Latez

i wasnt planing on reving that high..just some security for accidental mis-shifts or something...i have CR-Vtec with a 16 head..so i cant rev that high anyways..or i might find my crank in my oil pan or something...i just found oil on my spark plug chamber #3 soo i dont know what to do...wheather i have a bent valve or blow rings or both i can only work on one at a time..and if its my rings then i might as well do pistons and rods now anyways...

i dont want all ITR internals if my valves are bent then i might as well do it...right???

I would also like to know this? I have a b16 head and am planning on type R valves but do I need to buy all 16 or just the intake?

aswered my own question, the type R vavle angle is different so machine work is required for them to work on a b16 head.
