fixing a smokey accord :|
have a 86 lx-i f/i ... its been sitting in my driveway for the past 3 months .. i decided that i wanted it, bad thing that.. blue smoke from the exhaust keeps on coming out when the car is cold, after a while the smoke starts to die down.. but its still there.. stinks =| ... and it cant pass deq also..
ive changed the oil checked spark plugs replaced the o2 sensors and had a shop repair a vaccume leak... what else is there ;|... IT STILL SMOKES!!.. .. i want to drive that car so bad =|... so whats the problem?.. thanks guys!

Your engine is burning oil. Oil blow-by in the cylinders....piston rings are prolly worn out. Try a thicker oil like 20-50w.
Also ask the guy at the auto-parts store what other things (additives) would reduce the smoke.

dont use the additives, waste of money and the smole will come back, it just sounds like you need a good ol re-build. No snake oil/smoke stopper is going to fix that.
the 20W might be a smart move though, at least until you get it rebuilt...

Yup, get yourself a compression tester. Sounds like you might have bad rings.
You can probably pick up a freasher A20 for the much less than it would cost to rebuild your current block
