Value of bike
Looking for what everyone thinks a 98 CBR900RR with 5700 miles on it is worth.
Thinking of selling my bike because I just don't get any time to ride it. Everything is stock and original even the tires. I have replaced the spark plugs thats about it. The bike was dropped by the original owner. Suffered slight cosmetic damage so I had the bike repainted. I also had the stock muffler polished.

since its a blade, put it up on the .org site. At least youll be targeting a better audience:D
I'm guessing around 4k since a neighbor just bought prettymuch the same bike with less miles for around 4k from a dealer here.

Thanks for the posts.
I wish cycle trader was more like auto trader that would give you an average. Right now I am just thinking about it I really hate to get rid of it.

keep it... also remember that # of owners w/ low mileage bikes raises red flags

I just checked the Blue Book value, the retail value was almost $7000 and the trade in value was almost $5000. I am from Virginia and in Va. you would be able to get between $6000 and $7000 for a mint 98 CBR900RR. My brother sold his 94 900RR for $5200 about a year and a half ago, it was mint with 5900 miles.
I meant a lot of riders on a bike w/ relatively low mileage means a lot of new riders. This may not be true but if there are signs of burnouts or "tip over" damage it really draws caution. At least from me. More so on "sexy" bikes that squids like like r6s. Just me, you don't have to agree.
I just wasn't sure what you were talking about. The owner before me was an inexperienced rider. As I said before he dropped it, his wife made him sell it. There was some slight cosmetic damage this is why I had it repainted. Other than that the bike is in excellent condition. Thanks for all the posts.
