The majority of the opinions differ on this forum.
half will say ZC sucks and its not worth it and b16 is l33t
others will say the b16 is the torqueless wonder and to go ls
the ZC & b16 are essentially the same age so disregard those that say the ZC is old and you won't find parts for it, most parts from an 88-89 integra are interchangable with the ZC
I for one would suggest the LS but since your options are ZC and b16, I'd say its your preference, you can pick up a ZC, engine alone for roughly $500
with the b16 you need a few extra goodies, I've heard the price is somewhat around 1200-2000 depending on where you go, prices may be even higher
I have a ZC which pulls surprisingly hard (as noted by a b16 turbo and LS driver)
if you can find one in good condition, for possibly cheaper than the b16 installation you can build up your ZC to own a relatively stock b16. plus if you ever decide to go turbo, ZC's respond well.
