finally! i'm a crx owner again, check it out, give me suggestions
just got an 88 crx hf yesterday. my buddy is friends with the people at the towing impound lot, and we got this car for $100!! Ever since I sold my 88 SI I been wanting anohter one. gotta replace the structure right behind the headlight, and get a hood and fender for it. but it runs perfect, and its super clean inside and out!
Since this will be my mileage car(the wagon sucks fuel now
), I wanna fix it up some but not mess with the good mileage. what do you recommend?
I pulled off the bumper so I could work on it, and it didin't have a crash bar, just some brackets to hold the bumper skin on! they went the extra mile to lighten this!

hook it up clean,
it depend on your budget, get a Cf hood, painted,
get a good header, intake, some minor stuff, maybe a light grind camshaft,
nice wheel, and change the Oem part that seem foked up,
( ball joint etc)
btw it's a freacking nice buy for 100$, I'd buy three right now if I could
kranked

Shoot for 100$. I would part it out and make money of that. But then again, it is a great buy. Ahh, do what you want.

If its just going to your mileage car why dont you just do cosmetics to it?? I wouldnt think it would be worth doing a bunch of performance parts considering its an HF and wont feel much of a difference.
uhm, that car is near totaled. I dont know how this was a good buy unless you are gonna part the car out or take it on as a full on race/ driver restoration. I would part it out if I were you.

I do bodywork, so its not near totaled from my point of view. for now I'm just gonna get another headlight to fit, and get a hood and fender. no rust on it, so no way in hell i'm partin it out!! i already know where a hood and fender the same color are! The bumper wasn't touched, I just took it off to unwind the other stuff.
