Hey guys....
I spun a rod bearing in my CRX earlier this year. I was hoping to get it rebuild to stock specs, nothing special. But there's a guy here who's selling an 89 Si engine. It's a straight-forward swap right? Take out the bad motor, and put in the replacement? Tranny is the same?
If all goes well, I should be able to pick it up this weekend.
Thanks!

same engine (small differences, nothing that would affect this decision). go for it, just make sure the new engine is in good condition and he's not selling your a POS that he f***ed up.

The only problem that he told me is that it's burning a bit of oil. That's an easy fix though I would think.
It's only $200CDN for the complete engine, so it ain't so bad.
Thanks guys!
