removing front plates

Has anyone had trouble removing the front license plates off their hondas? I can't get mine off. The screw just spins and spins. (stripped?) Anyone have any tips on how I can get the plate off?

you're talking about that "Y" shape thing huh? i used small plyers and it worked fine. not that much play room but it works.
