Default how to prevent wiper arm from decolorizing?

i guess most of the people know that honda's wiper arm usually lost their black color as the car ages, how to prevent it from decolorize? car is getting old!

sand it a lil bit, clean it, paint it with light coat of primer(black one), and paint it black(satin,flat, glossy, etc)

actually my car is 4 and half years old and the color or the arm is getting dull, don't know if there is any protectent that can be applied
or i should just wait till those black paint decolorize!

220-240 grit(fine) should be fine or you can try 280-320(very fine).

dude just follow the step above just make sure don't over spray it.. It will look good trust me..

it is a better to remove the wipper arm. one nut is all it takes. paint black and use clearcoat if you want it to last longer.

u shouldn't use just regular can paint. I bought some flat black rust protectant paint from kragen it was like 5 bucks. Spray couple of coats and you'll be good to go.

you gotta spray it while its on the windshield, thats the ONLY WAY. then you have to scrape off all the overspray, i know it seems like alot but its worth it

It's painted, so I imagine that if you waxed it like all the other paint on the car that would help.
