How hard is it to recoat your civic SI rims with a black or gunmetal color? I have seen a lot of these around lately, anyone accomplished this task on their own? If so, how hard was it, and how did they turn out!?!? I need some detailed directions if anyone has some. Thanks for the help! OH--And if anyone has any pics of Si's or GSR's in black on a white civic or teg, please post so I have an idea of how they will look on my car! Thanks!

I would just take them to get powdercoated. I am having my wheels powdercoated as we speak. I found a place locally that charges $35 a wheel

 

Don't most bodyshops do powdercoating?

 

I am goin for the jet black color though.... can't this be done pretty easily ?!

 

I personally don't think it looks too good. i have seen a couple pairs before and each person regrets painting them. Its a good looking wheel.
