Default HelP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Cams Questions!!!!!!!!!!!!help!!!!!!!!!!

whats up guys. I unfortunately was ripped off when I bought a pair of used Integra type R cams. One of the cams is severely scratched up and my mechanic said that it was not usable. HOw do I tell which cam is the intake cam?? I can't tell if it is the intake cam or the exhaust cam that is in bad shape? If the intake one is in good shape I can still use it with a GSR exhaust cam right??? Will that give me more power, or do I need both ITR cams to feel an improvement in power? If it is the intake one that is damaged, I can buy the intake cam new for 220. So do I need both ITR cams to feel an improvement in power, or will a GSR exhaust cam and TYpe R intake cam be just as good????Dont forget to lemme know how to tell the difference between the exhaust cam and intake cam too. Any help is GREATLY appreciated. Thanks alot guys

The intake cam is slotted on one end so as to fit into the distributor.

You can use one or both at the same time. Obviously you'll make more power if you use both.

i would suggest geting both ctr cams. if u want the full potential, get both. imo i would just go with more aggressive cams. i have ctr;s in my car, but with only likk 8-10 hp, i would of just gone sk2 or other aggressive ones. if u want to see power and you dont have money for dyno, which dyno is strongly suggested go with more aggressive cams.
