Default what parts should i buy?

My head gasket was blow the other day, and so now i am replaicing it. what other gaskets should be replaced while i am at it? my mechanic says that intake gasket and the valave cover gasket should be replaced. is it necessary to replace the exhaust gasket as well?
i am also conidering to change the timing belt as well, but i found out that the accord has two, which are $40 each at the dealer, but the auto parts store are selling them for $23 each. I am on a tight budget, so i was wondering what is your opinions on changing this? should i just wait and get the honda or can i get the one at the auto parts store?

Replace both those gaskets and use only honda parts. Your mechanic isn't bullshitting you on this one.

Also the timing belt I got at the local parts store was made by Goodyear. I would surely hope that that is a name you can trust...
