Im about to buy an Apexi N1 for my ITR and want to see how it looks.
Please I want to see some CLOSE pics of the Apexi N1 on an ITR cause it seems that the backbox is low to the ground. Thanks guys!

What does this exhaust sound like? Quiet and smooth like a mugen twin loop, or loud and with a drone like some APC cherry bomb or some other trash?

 

Quiet and N1 dont fit in the same sentance.

its not that bad w/ the silencer and daily driving... i've heard worse, raspy notes...

 

i have the N1 with a test pipe and it's loud only when you get on it.When your just cruising it's not that loud. real raspy and high pitchied. real loud exhaust when you hit vtec

 

N1 looks absolutely awesome on tegs......

 

That looks really low to me ! Ever had any problems of ground clearance with that back box??

 

Did you replace your rear emblem with a fake one? Looks super pink...

Are you sure you want N1 exhaust? They are very loud and not much better than stock regarding HP gains....

It *IS* very loud.

 

I think the diameter is 2 3/8.

 

Well, do you have dynographs? And how are they compared to SMSP's full 2.5" exhaust. I saw on a graph that the difference between SMSP's full 2.5" exhaust and stock exhaust was +/- 3 HP.

Ok, where's your graphs? How much power do you think you are going to make with a 2 3/8" diameter exhaust? Does this exhaust have any bottlenecks?

 

My N1 has no bottle necks, I dont see what u are all bent out of shape about. Stock ITR exhaust is great. But it has a few bottle necks that can get rid of with the N1, Resonator right near the right rear wheel, and the stock muffler which has the baffled non-straight threw design.

I do not have a graph but if u are telling me that u think getting rid of the few stock bottlenecks and and baffled muffler and changing that to a straight threw design does not help flow and add a few WHP then i dont know what else to say.

where did you get that number, most apexi systems are either 2.25 or 2.5 and for the itr i think there all 2.5 mine. aleast mine is.

 

I do believe an N1 exhaust is better for the flow, but the question is: how much better compared to stock and SMSP's 2.5" exhaust.....
