Will JDM Front End save weight? If so, how much?
I remember hearing that the JDM Front End does save you a little weight, but I don't remember exactly how much. Does anyone have any ideas for with or without HID's?
Thanks in advance!

All cars have a bumper rebar. Ours is just a little safer, say if you were to die in an accident because of the weaker and ILLEGAL JDM re-bar, how would an insurance company handle this?

i doubt the jdm front end is any lighter, well for me any ways, my oem hid housings are heavy as hell, combined w/ the heavier hood, i think the added weight there will probably equal out to the smaller rebar...

speaking about insurances... is it true that if you do crash your car they wonlt cover it since it is violating u.s regualtions and laws, but on the other hand its an OEM product... any suggestions and thoughts guys?
What about the poor folks in the other parts of the world? Are they all dying left and right? I believe only the U.S. and Canada have the bigger bumper bars.

If anybody cares...the JDM nose became a minor issue in the Honda Challenge last year because someone was in the comp driving school with a PY JDM car. Nobody was going to kick the car out, but people were asking how much the car weighed compared to a USDM car.
I think the JDM car would be legal next year, because all the ITR must weigh 2575#, regardless.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but when your talking 20 lbs. it would be more up to the driver to win the race, not weight; right? This ranks as another one of those cool "useless information tid-bits" though...thanks.

"you guys are too funny!
If you want to save yourself some weight I suggest eating at McDonalds.
However if you want to reduce weight or minimize weight or decrease weight, those are other questions altogether....
