Well a friend of mine was driving his crx when the transmission started to pop out of gear well i told him that the syncros are going bad. but he changed the oil in the trans and it was fine for a month. then it started to pop out of 5th gear well then he had to stop at a light and he he said he had to force it into first. well after that it was ok until he had to back out of a parking space. NO reverse, it is gone, non existent, No go backwards etc... any way his dad friend works at a trans. shop and he says its some kinda hub/spring thing for the reverse gear that is stuck. figured i'd ask the crx guru's out there first.

 

Makes sense. Id just tell him to get a new one or have his rebuilt. It will probably be cheaper to get one from the scrap yard with lok miles.

yea...just get another one. Probably the best solution.

yeah i keep telling him to get another one but he still thinks he can pull it out and "easily fix" the reverse spring, lever, thing... i dont know he is in his own world... but thanks everyone for the feedback
