Default 91 std 4-speed to 5-speed

Does the STD. 4-speed tranny use the same axles as the DX/SI ??

Yes. you can swap in a 5 speed into your std with no axle problems, use the std. axles. the axles are the same at the tranny end, different at the hub end.

hey hunchback...i was just chillin here to see what was goin on, and i noticed you asked about puttin a five speed in a std hatch. well i was wonderin if you needed any parts from an Si, i pretty much have the whole Si setup to part out, except the engine: trans, suspension, brakes, etc. if you need any parts, let me know, i'm trying to get rid of this stuff, thanx
