just hook it to a vaccum line... tee it off soem thing.. you take out the whole senso then it should read vaccum under pressure... thats how we did it on a 93 si hatch with a 00 b16 and 98 type r engine harness
I tapped mine in the center of core plug. Also drilled two small holes, tapped and reused the originaL screws. Almost looks factory and if you happend to screw up I would bet you could pick up another core plug from a machine shop.
Don't tap it into the manifold, just drill a hold in your intake, stock tubing, whatever it is. Don't screw up a perfectly good Y8 manifold.

no. no codes at all.. works fine. im sure the temp of the air is a little cooler there than the intake manifold too.. so it could possibly mean a slight power gain.
just make sure you dont make the hole too big for the sensor. i made mine a tight fit and then pushed it in and used 2 little bolts/nuts to secure it.

.Cool! What kind of tb did you used on your y8? I got a teg 91 ls tb and I noticed that the choker or floater that adjust the rpm when it's warm it has different hole on the bolt hole for the teg tb.. I might just drill another hole so i can use my a6 choker whatever you call that thing..
