Default Kinda OT: ITR Seat rails

Im looking into replacing my seats that were jacked. If I wanted to get some race seats, I know I would need the rails, but are the rails the same for all seats? The reason I ask is because I have the opportunity to use my friends Sparcos temporarily, but he doesnt have rails. So I would have to purchase rails, and then if I wanted to get a different set of seats, like Recaros, could I use the same rails or would I need to get new rails again? Im just trying to avoid muliple sets of rails if possible. Thanks

get wedge engineering brackets then mod them to fit the seats you get. sparco rails suck bad. wedge brackets are a good base, but nothing except for recaro seats with tab slider fit on them without modifying. i have 4 brackets in my basement i have to mod this weekend for my car and friend's cars.

For most aftermarket seat like Sparco, you need.....from top to bottom

Your Sparco seat
Side mount (required for some race seat ) <---- depends on seat model
Slider (needed if you want to move forward/backward) <----- Optional
Seat Bracket (bolt to the floor of the car) <---- Required

I believe MOMO and Sparco can shared a rail.......NOT for OMP, however I'm not so sure about Recaro

Mugen rail w/ MOMO bucket seat here. It's not a perfect fit w/o modification. You need spacers... 1 or 2 w/ extended bolts to make it work. And, when it's on, it's rock solid.

you would have to do some custom work to make the stock rails fit the the recaro's, recaro acutally makes rails for integras that are meant for useing a recaro seat in an integra....be prepared, the rails and sliders from recaro arnt cheap.
