I need a fairly accurate estimate of the weight and overall dimensions of a b-series shortblock to get a shipping estimate? Does anyone have this for me?

Hrm....Rough estimate is 24" long X 20" high X 20" deep.
Weight.....100lbs. Cranks are heavy as hell.

 

Somehow I think it weighs a bit more than that. It took three of us to carry one up three flights of stairs to my apartment.

 

I'm guessing 150.

I carried the longblock with one other person.

 

I carried a shortblock by myself, its probably closer to 150, My back was pissed going up and down stairs with that thing.

Edit: damn 150lbs via ups ground is ~$100. That f'ing sucks.

My B16 shortblock was 100lbs according to the scale at USF Reddaway

That was also strapped to a small wooden pallete.
