Default 88' dx pump

I have a 88' dx with a 93' b18a in it running a pr4 ecu. This is my second car to have this swap in and I kinda wondered with the first about the fuel pump. Some of my friends said it would be fine to keep the dx fuel pump. When I was driving the other day I just happend to look down at my ecu to notice that it was throwing a code 43. This is a fuel system code. I am fixing to put a pr3 b16a head on my car and was wondering if any of you guys recomend using a different fuel pump from stock or should the stock fuel pump be enough for this setup??????

Well all 88-91 civics are the same fuel pump no matter what model it is. you can get a aftermarket one. I bought a Walbro 255 LPH/HP pump for 115.00 shipped. Its more then I'll ever need. You can also use a eclipse GSX goes right in. I would see how it works b4 buying it. If you feel its not enough, drop your tank and swap it. Its a ez job to do. 2 straps 2 hoses 2 wires and 8 bolts.
