Default Spoon Strut Bar wont fit over my Tein HA's???????

I have a 00 USDM Type R and installed my Tein HA's a few weeks ago. I went to install my Spoon Upper Strut but it wouldn't fit. The support brackets fit on-top of the tower, but the supper half of the suspension is in the way of the screw for the strut bar. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

Actually, spoon strut bars can be purchased between $190-225, and Mugen bars run between $265-300. If anybody wants to sell it strait up or I can throw down some cash and make a trade.....that would be great!

I had that problem with fitment as well. Except my strut bar wouldnt fit under the Spoon Hood I have. I just sent it back to AJR and they sent me a replacement which fit properly.
So try and return it to the place of purchase. It may just be a defective piece.
