DingKing
If you've noticed my thread about someone throwing a hockey puck at my car I may have mentioned something about the Ding King... Well ive searched here and found an inconclusive thread and reviewed multiple sites and what not and i cant come to a conclusion about it... Has anyone had first hand experience with this thing? I got my small...2" diameter dent estimated at 300 bucks to fix : / What do you folks think?
Heres a pic of the dent, the smudge on the right...

Well I can't tell from the pic, but is that just rubber from the puck or has the paint been removed? I know down here in TN that most paintless dent removal places will charge you about 60-70 bucks a panel and thats it. So if you can buff out the spot go to a paintless dent removal place. You will save a lot of money. If that is a scratch into the paint, then I don't know what option you have. You might have to dish out the extra cash. Bummer dude.

Well, then dude, save yourself some money and get it popped out. Go to some of your local car dealerships. The higher class ones(BMW,Lexus, Acura) usually have someone come a certain day of the week for his services. Good luck.

Shop around for a paintless dent removal business in your area. I had a dent that was a bit bigger than the one you have on the rear quarter panel of my coupe and the dent removal guy pulled it right out. They charged $35 panel and did great work.
I saw the ding king in the wholesale club last week and just bought it cause it was only $25. I haven't gotten a chance to use it yet, I'm thinking sometime this weekend I will. I'll let you know how it goes.
It looks to be identical to the kit that eastwood sells for $99 so I think it will work. I don't have any dents like you do, but a couple of nasty parking lot dings.
We'll see...

I would just get it popped out. Don't do it yourself though. My friend, who has a Stealth, got side-swiped by another car one day. Later on, his friend tried to pull out the dent with one of those kits, but just managed to ruin the paint job even more. In the end, he had to take it to the shop to get it fixed.
well this is a small dent no bigger than you making a circle by connecting your index finger to your thumb.....maybe a bit smaller.... hopefully this will take care of it....i dunno was just hoping for some first hand expeirence on small dents.....and yes...300 is absurd....
