I am wondering what a complete b17 swap typically goes for.

complete B17 w/ YS1 cable tranny. 101k miles
ECU
Axles
Shiftlinkage
Uncut Harness.

There is a wrecked 92 GSR at the local insurance auction and I am wondering what I could sell the stuff for if i buy it. How hard is it to get rid of?

 

they're pretty rare, i'd imagine somewehre between 2 and 3k

Sounds a little high for an insurance auction. Depends on whether or not there is a junkyard there that knows what it is. I doubt any re-builders are going to bid on a 92, so it's probably just the yards that will bid.

How are you getting into the auction? You have a licence? [just curious]

It is open to the public. Anyone can go to salvage auctions here. The car is wrecked. Also I am talking what do you think i can get for just the motor/swap parts.

A 92 would be OBD1, right?

If so, it gets hard to say, because they are so rare. I would expect it to go for more than a B16, but I don't think it would go for as much as a B18C. Then again, maybe the "rare" factor would drive it higher than expected.

 

Yes 92 GSR is OBD1. I don't know if I could make more selling it as a whole or parting it out.
