One of my friends had a car shipped from California to Virginia...his took about 4-5 weeks to get here, they had to stop in different states and wait for other cars to fill up the truck. Besides the wait his car had oil dripped on it from a beater that was on the row above his. I believe this is one of those industries where you get what you pay for.

I drove my R from FL to NY for 21 hours and some 1,300 miles.

Cali to NY is hmm...40 hrs of driving. Take I80West all the way and use this oppurtunity to see the greater areas of this country

I'd say grab a friend and hit the road.

ask the local Acura dealer, or any other for that matter. i know the place i used to work would buy cars from florida all the time and have them shipped. i myself was gonna have a 328 sent to me from florida, woulda cost me $700. so yeah, dealerships would be a place to start asking. go when they aren't busy, so they don't mind talking to you about things not normally associated with daily business activities.

Let me give you the number of a guy I shipped a new M3 across the country with. His name is Nick and he runs his own closed trailer truck. I shipped a brand new SMG M3 from MI to WA for a good price and he ships cars for some SERIOUS people.

I met him first when he dropped off a Saleen S7 for the EPA here in MI for emissions testing a few months back. He is accustomed to shipping plenty of exotics and will take amazing care of your car. He also ships a lot of famous athletes cars.

Give him a call on his cell: 512-731-7057.
