radius rods, are they really needed
I have a set of Comp Engineering radius rods on my 97 integra. The car is going to go all out drag car. I have been hearing different people saying how they halp and others saying that they do nothing. I ran the car and i didnt notice any improvment in times although i didnt have much time to mess with the settings. Im actualy considering taking them off and possibly getting the Comp control arms. Is this a smart move or should i keep the traction bars.
Get rid of those comp eng units, they are junk. get a quality unit like a jimfab and you'll be very impressed in the improvement that you get.
and the z10? i just went to the jimfab site. are those bolted on or welded on? i couldn't tell in the last pic. also are the jimfab streetable? i read on top that the crx ones aren't though.
I like the jimfab stuff. I have the complete motor mount and torque mount set and they are top notch. I cant tell a difference between the comp and the Z10 rods. They conect a little different but the angles are the same with the integra unit. They both use turnbuckles and they mount at the same positions. Im cutting high 1.6's now but ive always been ripping decent 60 foot times. Dont get me wrong the front end feels way more solid but that is about all.
z10s are nice , i have em , i havent had a chance to really set em up good, but i noticed alot less wheel hop. and more stability in the car.
