Default Apexi World Sport Dampers

What's up all you ITR guys. I was wondering if you guys had any experience about the Apexi world sport dampers on a DC2. I know you guys probably care more about your suspension then any other forum and i just wanted to know if they were good for street driving. I might take it up to the track once or twice but will most likely be street driven for the rest of the cars life. thanks

For daily driver...they are absolutely awesome. I have had them for almost 25,000 mi and I absolutely love them. They aren't super stiff, so ride quality is very good. Very nicely dampened. For hard core cornering they aren't too awesome...a little too squishy...still very nice though. IMHO it rides better than it did while stock...although corner ability is slightly lessened...so if you don't want to hit the track too much...for daily driven applications they are very nice.

JN who loves his current suspension setup....but would like a separate set of coil-overs for track driving fun.

No offence but my opinion is these dampers are just as good as shocks and springs setup. I driven it myself and I am pretty sure my mom won't notice I changed my suspension hen she ride in my car.

That is actualy a pretty good description. It doesn't ride much different than factory, it is just lower. Since my car is just a street car...and I like how it looks lower than it does at stock height...this was a perfect choice becuase I didn't have to change the ride of the car which I loved...but I got the look that I wanted as well.

Even on Apex-I's website in their description of the coil-over it says that the purpose of the WS coil-over is to give the suspension of the car the feel that it SHOULD have coming from the factory. I actually thought it was funny when I read that and installed them becuase clearly Apex-I felt that the Type R suspension was pretty perfect since the feel wasn't significantly different.
