I'm looking for a custom 2.5" exhaust setup for my JRSC GSR.
Most after market catbacks are either 2.25 NA catbacks or 3" turbo catbacks.

I heard the JDM type R had a 2.5" catback. I was wondering if the muffler on it is also 2.5" inlet then or if tapers down to the size of a USDM type r piping which is 2.25"?

Is there a difference between the JDM and and USDM ITR mufflers?

also if anyone has one for sale, I will buy it off ya.

The JDM ITR exhaust is 2.25".

 

you would be better off getting an aftermarket 2.5 inch catback. I believe the JDM one has bottlenecks in it still. Type One, Buddy Club, there are a lot of them out there.

 

The Kakimoto R is a 2.5" catback!!

 

hmm...i need to check around. I've had a couple people tell me JDM ITR's had 2.5" piping, mated to their 2.5" collector header & cat.

is this true or not?
