well,..didn't think it would happen,..but I was gonna buy ITR 510 but instead---Drove the 350z and now I own one,..got it for $27 pretty much

And insurance only went up $15 a Mth!!!!
I couldn't believe that!!
BUt it is PERFECT(IMO)--Very much like a Supra TT and the whole Electronic Throttle is THE ****!!!you don't even have to drop gears,..just hit it---even in 6th gear---waiting till break-in to really get on it,..but kinda been beatin up on my Friends S2000---I would just hit the gas in 6th( ) and i would hear him drop to 3rd and I was gone,..but the S did come back as we got faster--figures 6th isn't for gainin speed its mainly for holding and crusing(better gas mileage)

BUt to anyone who has a chance to drive one,...its great,..I drove a Supra TT quite a few times and this feels Really,really close in the speed dept.(stock mind you)---but handles better!

Yeah 27k is the base model price. That's like w/o HID, LSD, wheels, etc.

 

YEP,...its a base model,..trying to find an "Enthuistist"(what I wanted) model is like ordering a Skyline form Japan pretty much,..none we're a round and would have taken like another couple weeks to 2 mths to get one-- so trust me,..its dosen't need most of it IMO,..the better way I look @ it is that I'm gettin HID's-->don't need Brembo's-(or I will be going Waaay to fast to begin w/ which = tickets to use them anyway,and not tracking(auto Xing) anyway) and LSD & ATC would be nice but hey its well worth it.Its kinda like going from a Civic DX hatchback-(RSX-S) to a TT Supra-(350Z),...more power then you need --don't get me wrong the RSX was good to me---but had some extra money and didn't want to have to modify anything like my car again and this is ALOT Faster,..already had alot of **** done to the RSX-S and sold it all,..so,.I'm very happy.To me its almost too fast!
Base=3100lbs<-----its the lightest one of the pack--not too bad.

perf=3300lbs
touring=3350
track=3300
I believe this is pretty close.Thats about the only other advantage--HID's and Maybesome wheels,..and I'm done!

Congradulations on the new car bro. Me and my girlfriend are looking at those right now, we saw a white one in california and fell in love with it. And on a plus side one of our friends is real good friends with the owner of the nissan dealership in cali so he can hook us up even better so that is a very big plus. But if we do get the Z we want the best package from hid's to LSD. Well good luck on the car bro and have fun with it and be safe.

I'd have to disagree---> 27K for a 2003 S2000,...wouldn't happen,more like $34-35k range depending?..my friend just bought a 2002 for $32K---plus I'm a hardtop man myself!--Insurance on a S is Killer,..mine only went up $10 a mth!

An as far as the new INfiniti goes,...one it has a back seat-- 2:always wanted a 2-seater,..hate people climbing in my back seat thats why on all my HONDA's I took the back seats out,..it has like a 7hp diffrence(whoa),.. BUT MAINLY--- THOSE TALIlighTS! I can't stand the Infiniti Taillights---> they are SUper GAY!

BUt the wheels on the G35 are the ****! 17's and the phatty 18's,.I would actually think about gettin em' for my 350---but I'm sorry as good as a Infiniti "sounds" Your paying for a name,..its damn sure not a skyline that its supposed to be so I stayed away from it! Its a nissan,..we're all family!

You def. got a good deal. I havn't sat in the 350Z. But I have sat in the G35 and I was very disapointed with the fit and finish I thought it absolutly sucked *****. Visiblity was a huge issue for me in it.

Well,.the Base model was in my budget and 350Z alone looks way better than my RSX-S for damn sure,..so I got it.And,waiting for the model that I wanted(Enthusist?) would have taken to long and by that time I would have had no money for it!
BUt I got thge main thing I wanted from that model besides the LSD which is a phatty 8000K HID kit,..so I'm cool on that,.next comes the Top Secret Carbon Fiber front Diffuser--then some wheels(probably TE-37's again)and I'll try to keep everything else to a minium.WIll go to the motor sooner of later,..but Deals are flyin on wheels and Kits(NISMO kit,Veilside,etc)Group Buys mainly but heres some more pic's for ya'll--->Sorry,.Iknow this isn't a NIssan Board but I think you'll like em

great car, horrible door handles (they should have been body colored)...i can't get over them.

however, i bet it is great. Have fun with your purchase and wait till all the nismo mods come out...

WEll,.the track model is the only w/ the Brembo's,..the Performance is under the track,.then Touring then Enthuistist then Base( )>From what I hear the Touring and Performance models w/ the Bose FUll stereo w/ 10" Sub SUX REALLY BAD!!!
The Base and Enthusitsist has 17's but all the other ones have 18's,..but I'm lookin into a set of Rays or Kinesis!

my350Z.com has the most info so far! they will be sellin all types of Factory stuff for cheap,.like the "Track" model RAYS wheels! and Ebay has the Brembo's by themselves for like $3000.
HID's are on the way for me,.next is wheels or the Front lip.
BUt all in all ..I love it!!!
I've had alot of fun so far and learned that all Bolt on stuff will not add **** until NISMO releases the ECU upgrade-the 350Z is or was Rated @ 310hp from the factory but surley got detuned(becasue they we'rent sure of the performance w/ it being 310hp that all that press on it,it might FLOP! so they detuned it for that and 50state Carb),..so the ECU is resettin the Fuel maps for aftermarket stuff to where its like Add-ons aren't doing Squat!

The ECM upgrade wll be around($700-$800) but will have a Higher rev-limt + 310hp to the flywheel!!!
Nismo will probably introduce the Supercharger for the 350 before the Twin Turbo set-up so that will be some crazy ****!!

If you drive one,..trust me,.you'll want one

and yes,..the NISMO kit is the DADDY! few already have em',..its $2500 for full kit!
