Default need to get b18c5 running

My stock motor in my 93 civic cx is about to blow up any day now. I was planning on waiting a while to put my b18c5 in to save money. I don't have a P28 yet. I was wondering if the b18 c5 would run on my stock ecu and if so would it run simply by plugging the engine harness in at the shock tower or would i have to do some wiring to get it running.

You can get it to run, but run right is a different story.

Don't do that to a type r engine.

Wait for the P28. You won't regret it..
