Default V-afc and OBD II

my car is obd II (98 gsr 2dr)

do i need to go OBD I in order to use the v-afc whats the point of converting to obd I

you can still install the v-afc on obd2, i wouldnt reccmmend it but you can still do it.
i installed the v-afc when i had the obd2 ecu, but clocked too many check engine lights. when i switched over to obd1, i hardly got check engine lights relating to the v-afc.

Doesn't matter if you're on OBDI or OBDII. It will run just fine on anyone of them.
