I plan on buying an autometer phantom series fuel pressure gauge
and I was wondering if I needed anything else for it to work
they guy at the shop was trying to tell me it was over 150 dollars for everything
he's trying to rip me off right??????
should I just order the gauge online??

Also it says it needs to be mounter outside the vehicle
does that mean I cant put it in my a pillar?

If you get the electric one, it's about $145 from Summit Racing, has a sending unit that is mounted in the engine bay, and then all that goes into the passenger compartment is electric wires.

 

what about the manual one?
it need to be mounted under the hood???

 

yea its most likely gonna have to be under the hood. u could run fuel lines thru your firewall into the back of the gauge but it'd be illegal and unsafe.
