Default Power steering and cold

whenever it's cold (-10 and below) my powersteering becomes hard as ****. drives me nuts, what could this be? anyone have any ideas? it's a 97 civic hb stock everything .. anyone else experiance this? normal or not?

When it's extremely cold the fluids that help the power steering work become thicker (like most liquids). I'm assuming that after you drive for a little bit the steering feel returns to normal. If that's the case don't worry about and if it bothers you too much, pray for warmer weather.
