When we installed the JUN cams we just used regular assembly lube. Worked just fine

Plastic Guage is to measure tolerences!!

I dont belive it is somthing that needs to be done!!

Just get a good Assembly Lube, ie...CRC or any big name!!

polish the cam journals with 800 grit sandpaper, very light polishing will work fine.

There is no such thing as plastigage for Acura, you need plastigage strips period, thats for any car, motorbike etc. i get strips from pepboys, you'll need teh "green" package strips as they have the clearances for honda motors.

aaaaah damn.. i got the blue.. but the helms has the direction in it. i just measured one set of journals. they are fine. i got some "cam lube" from autozone, thing cost 13.99.. i be damned. now i gotta clay the motor for clearance. after that im all set to put this basterd together and start it up.
