300.00..includes complete valvetrain (cams, followers, etc..)..
Built D16Y8 motor:
-Complete motor, or will separate head and block..
Block:
-Bored 20 over..
-Eagle Rods w/ARP rod bolts..
-SRP 10.5:1 pistons..
-Micropolished crankshaft..
-all new bearings and piston rings..
Head:
-Ported and polished..
-3 angle valve job..30 degree back cut on intake valves..
-Comp cam valve springs (part #: 912-16)..
-Comp cam camshaft (part #: 59300) Intake lift= .455/.300/.310..Exhaust lift = .430..
-new valve seals..
-31.2 cc combustion chamber in head..
All together makes compression ratio 11.5:1 w/entire motor as built..
Entire motor 1500.00..block and head are currently separated, motor has 300 miles on it, never beaten..was still in break-in period..car was rear-ended..If separate, 1000.00 for block, 500.00 for head..
Have all paperwork for both LS Head and single cam motor..

was the y8 daily drivable? did it run on 92 octane? how much would shipping be to 97058 for the whole thing? for just the head?

The motor was daily driven during the break-in period..was to be a daily driven motor, but unfortunately people can't see where they are going and rear-ended the car..It needs premium gas..It was run on 93 octane out here in the east, but I don't think one octane down to 92 is going to make much of a difference..
As far a shipping costs to 97058 zip:
Is approx 60.00 for the block (UPS ground)..
and approx 25.00 for the head (UPS ground)..

sorry it's taken so long, but did you ever run it at the track? what times?
did it pull hard? im lookin at either this or possibly a b16. i'd rather stay d series and be a hero, but i dunno
