brand name or knock offs
If your going to be autoXin and are serious about it then go for the spoon, or benen bar. if you just want usmthin there for looks or somehting then just get a cheaper one. I've heard that some cheaper ones will just bend or warp if theres a lot fo force on them.
You get what you pay for ...... that old saying holds true when it comes to car parts. Unfortunately sometimes you just pay for a name in this industry. Look into Cusco, Carbing, Spoon, Tanabe, they are all good pieces of equipment fairly priced.
i would go for the knockoffs... as long as they dont say "tenzoR" or "OBX" or blah blah blah on em. ive seen some knockoffs that are plain... those are better to get. if youre not building your suspension for autocrossing or whatever, knockoffs will be fine. usually, strut bars work the same way. some a little better and stronger than most.
thanks for the replies. I do not cut corners buying cheaper parts, but alot of tiumes you just pay for the name. When it comes to critical parts, I only buy the best.

I bought the typeR knockoff front bar off ebay and it looks the part and is much stronger than the oem GSR bar, and it only cost $25
