Well, if its real, then you don't have anything to worry about...

No good way to tell really. Should have the Type R sticker on it.. There are no stampings of any sort on the bar.

 

the end links are gunmetalish color.

immatation end links are just painted black

 

what about its fuctions?

would they do the same?

if they do the same thing i think the fake one is cool too

The cross section of a 'real' strut bar has 3 open passage ways thru it.

The red one is a ctr bar.

 

That looks like the same bars that are on the GSR/SI's but red

thats because the ctr bar is the same as the si/gsr only difference is it's red

 

I have the knock-off typeR bar, it does the job and is hella lot cheaper than a genuine one, and it looks more or less the exact same. I dont see the point in spending a load of money on a bar if you only use your car on the street, if however you track race/auto-x then it may be worthwhile buying a stiffer stronger bar

 

yup, CTR ones is just repainted factory one on all the B16 hatch in japan.
