How to remove the spedo from a 94 Accord Ex
this is for the 6th gen..but i think is kinda the same anyways.
there's two screws on top..take them out and
pull the black shore cover thing out.
then you'll see four more screw which holding down the the cluster.
tilt the guage cluster facing down and then unplug the greenish connectors.(3x)
that's all.

its quite a little different on the 5th gens.... the problem is the single big piece of dash that is in our car.
basically you have to take out the center console, so that you can take out the radio console, in order to get to the 2 screws under the heater controls. after that, you have to remove the cruise control buttons, the rear defroster and behind each of those is a screw.
then take out the 2 screws above the guages. pull the thing out, but be careful. you have 2 options.
1) manipulate it to get it out of your way and unplug just the electrical connectors.
2) take off the electrical connectors AND the hot/cold adjustment cable. the problem with taking off that cable is that its not hard to mess it up, and then your controls there will be messed up.
either way, its a PITA to get to. i hope youre not doing this in order to install some indiglo guages
good luck
