Default help fly wheel questons need quick response

well i got tranny off and the pressure plate was busted...the flywheel is scorched....if i dont get the flywheel fixed now will it last say 6 months till the b18c is finished being rebuilt or will I be on the side of the road in say the next 2 months and needing a new flywheel? Please respond back and tell me if I should just get flywheel fixed or not I dont want to put no more money into this engine when I have a good b18c getting ready to be put in...

If it's discolored or scored, have a machine shop resurface it. If you don't, it may slip or chatter. But if you're tossing it in a few months, take some 180 grit sand paper, wrap it around a block of wood, and wet sand the surface 'till it's not shiney, throw in a new OEM clutch disc and call it a day.
