Here's my pics on my Z6... I don't know why you specifically want pics of a Y7/8...

Can you guys post how much money went into your turbo and any other turbo engine prep? I an trying to decide between a turbo or a swap. Also, whats your current HP and Tq with the turbo on your d series engine?

Sean: there were no clearance issues with the tower bar. The only problem you may find is the bumper fitting with the intercooler. I slanted mine and will give you some tips if you need it via IM.

Kay: If I were to estimate a price with what I spent for the kit and what I am replacing on the kit combined, I would say between $4500 and $5000.
I do not have hp/tq numbers on this car, because for the longest time i was running a cat and felt it was unecessary. I may get it dynoe'd when i finish the VAFC hack when school is out this fall. As far as suggestions on swap vs. turbo, I always tell people to do it right the first time. If you have the option to buy the swap first, then do it. You will be happier in the long run. Pretty soon I will be ordering a USDM B16a2 and building that up for boost.

I agree with Maxim about how you should decide what your goals are with your budget in mind. For me, I just wanted a little extra pep...nothing outrageous. I went with a new Greddy kit w/BOV ($1600), Eclipse intercooler ($50), XS boost controller ($50), and gauges and other misc things (~$200). I'm running 7psi and it's definitely a huge difference over stock. Never dyno'd it. I'm happy with what I have for now but I can always go hondata and up the boost if I was so inclined. I've had the kit on for almost a year and a half and it is as driveable as it was when it was N/A. I'm very happy with it. If your goals are significantly above 200whp, then you should start looking at the B-series.

T3/T04E on a SOHC?? It must be 5000 before you get into boost. Is your goal 300hp or have you attained that point?

What are the mods you have or are planning to get to achieve this? Not doubting you, just would like some info.

Well, 300hp is my goal for this time next year. But I might just go w/ hybird piston/rod deal(2jz/b16a) and go for around 270 ish.

Thanks all for the response. Dam, I keep trying not to swap because I hate just sitting around not doing anything to my performance and being stock with an intake and exhaust. Dam, NEED MONEY!!!

i would just keep your motor...the money u want to spend on a swap will be no where where u will be boosting....there is alot u can do to the motor...sleeve the block, pistons, rods, port and polish the head. with that alone u can make 280whp easy....just my opinion though....i am running a drag III kit on a dx and so far i have killed some quick cars..

02 civic type r chipped
N/A supra w/h/i/e and cam gears
civic dx hatch w/b16a2
Audi S3 chipped @ 285hp
opel vectra boosting
accord type r
240sx w/sr20det
gsx boostin 16psi

havent touched my bottom end and only boostin 7psi....in the end it is all u though

So let me get this straight, you are only at 7psi but yet you have beaten cars running more boost with larger engines? Oh, and an Accord R? Did you get a look at this guys engine bay or were you taking his word for it? Don't tell me its the weight factor, because there is only so much compensation for the hp/tq difference.

I don't see how you were able to accomplish this unless you were the only one racing.

Besides the Drag kit, what are the specs so I have more room to speculate..

it is easy....i am in germany so the dude with the type r accord i know him...he is in the club and for references on the wins i had either street or strip they can vouch for me...i am a very good racer...on strip my reactions are consitant .5 and .6....the gsx i beat on the strip...i posted the time slip in the kills section....u might doubt the dx turboed but it is fast.....i am running a afc and act stage 2 clutch...doubt all u want but for one i do have the slip for it....on the track over here i ran 14.8 consitantly @94mph only running 7psi.....
