how do you guys mount your HID ballasts ?
i know there are so much about HID's on H-T but i haven't found one about mounting them.
I was wondering how do you guys mount your HID ballasts.
I've seem some ballasts mounting hardwears available???

but i was wonding anybody has any other good locations for them?? and how do you guys mount them? velcro? ziptie? or other methods???

Velcro, in same locations as mentioned, nearly a year and no probs.
i remember seeing some steel case ballast mounts awhile ago, but i can't find it now.
would you guys have pictures of how and where you mount your ballasts?

Make sure you clean the surface using alcohol or something before putting velcro on. Also remember that it takes roughly 24 hours for the adhesive to completely "dry".
I used industrial strength velcro and zipties to secure them. There's really no need to buy/make metal cases for them.

well, that's my problem for some freaken reason my Velcro also falls off. i even went to home depot and got some heavy duty velcros but for some reason the heat from my engine would make the velcro come undone. this would be the 5th set of velcros
