Default Component speakers or 2-way...

Which is better?? Someone please enlighten me. I don't know the difference. I just drive and want good music while i drive home after a pissed off day at work. Where do you place the tweeters of the component speakers??

Components are good for imaging, but if you place the tweeter closer to you than the mid, it will drown out some of the midbass. If you have a nice system w/ subs tehn go with components. For good sound, best bang for the buck, get coaxial. And if you worried about imaging, get the ones that have revolving tweeters, like the Polks.

As mentioned, component speakers are excellent for achieving the most accurate sound. With component systems, the key is to keep the drivers as close as possible so that you get the best imaging. By keeping them close you will achieve awesome 'staging' and will get very nice sound. Co-ax systems are also good but not as accurate. They are a more budget or cheap option because of the smaller complications. Hope that helps!
