Yes My g\f just purchased 5 speed silver teg LS with 37000 on it. its a 2001. im not familiar with teg info just accord. i would like to do intake header and exhaust and suspension. what do u guys reccomend? not as far as brands but like what should i do first?

Hunt down a GS-R head, throw that baby on, and enjoy VTEC!!!!

then work on I/H/E if thats all you wanna do for her!...i mean like turbo and that!!

 

hmm the vtec thing sounds nice but she is not into that deep of modding like me. **** i would have just bought the gs-r or the R myself. but will the LS respond to any of the basic mods? i dont really care about lots of power just a little realized umphh. also is there an OEM kit for tegs?

not for a girl who doesnt care too much for performance. yes they have an OEM kit..but its been discontinued. pretty sure you can still find one around though. intake header and exhaust and oem kit, plus some suspension mods should be good.

at least once a week my girlfriend comes home telling me about some guys wanting to play with her in more ways than one!.. she drives the 90...sheesh...and that thing cant even touch the gsr...lol

Just do intake header and exhaust as far as performance is concerned and that's it. She's a girl who doesn't care too much about performance, so doing LS/VTEC or turbo just won't be worth it.

LS/VTEC and turbo requires maintenance. Intake header and exhaust will be fine and she won't have to worry about replacing parts or breaking stuff with just these bolt-ons.

 

screw the performance if she doesn't dig it. What's the point..that's just wasting roughly 1000 bucks.

IMO, a nice suspension would be better and should come first...may be an 1.5" drop with some springs that doesn't have insane high spring rates with shocks.

If she isn't too concerned w/ performance just get her the basic stuff that is "chick proof" and won't make her like ghetto fab.
Short Ram intake
4-2-1 header w/ 2" collector
high flow cat
2.25-2.36" exhaust w/ a chambered muffler

This covers the basics and will give her some extra upmpfh when she punches it. A nice conservative drop 1.5-1.7" will also take some roll out of the suspension on the freeway.

 

Why would you want to do that?
I think its a waste of money trying to "hook up" your girl's ride. Instead use it on your ride.

Personally, I would not hook up my girl's car because
1) she doesn't want it to be hooked up.
2) I can spend that money on something else for her

My friend hooked up his now ex-girlfriend's ride and he regrets it so bad. And he got the rice mods too. Altezzas, aluminum wing, decals, etc.
