I took it to the dealer and they found nothing. Should I be worried at all? It goes on and off while driving, especially while on the highway. Does it with and without a passenger.

 

Mine is on all the time, but I have a airbag disabler. I really dunno if it would deploy if the disabler is OFF. What did the dealer test on your SRS system? I don't want to waste a trip to my dealer.

 

I'd be worried. Leave it with them until they do find something.

 

Its probly just a censor. bring it to the dealer and they will hook you up. get it checked for sure though, it isnt funny **** when your driving and your air bag blows up in your face ..... Just kiddin that probly wouldnt happen

 

it could be ur srs component. if thats the case pm me i got an extra one. i believe the dealer charges close to around 300. ill sell mine to u much cheaper than that. it looks like an oversized yoyo with a srs sticker.

 

this exact thing is happening to my 01 accord and the dealer is doing NOTHING about it. they keep telling me they cant find anything wrong with the damn thing. i am getting really sick of the dealers and their bull. i have also tried to complain to honda of america and their 800 number but also to no avail.

the srs light comes and goes at no particular time, just when it seems to want to light up. sometimes when i hit a big bump and sometimes when the car is at a complete stand still.

let me know what you get out of them and what the problem is, which i am sure is just some kind of relay/wiring issue.

if u have an accord y r u calling acura? try calling honda

 

check your battery connection, mine was doing that, I check my battery connection, and it stopped

 

I had this same exact problem and the battery connection was a little loose. I tightened it and was on my way sans blinking SRS light.

 

i meant honda....sorry for the cunfusion, i was in acura mode.
