damn you are begging for it. TRANNY's dont give you horse power they will change the gear ratio. Might mke it alittle faster because of shorter gears. But they are pretty close to being the same tranny. You need to learn to use this https://honda-tech.com/zerosearch or you will need to buy a flame suit. And what is up with all that F'ed up way of typing. Wat doesn't = what. Damn go back to school.

well like extreme said.. Transmissions don't neccesarily add horsepower...since in a sense they do rob power fron frictional loses from flywheel to transmission to the wheels... but in a sense a shorter geared tranny can make you make peak torque and peak HP @ a lower actual car speed.. if the engine was left as is.. since when you make the gears shorter you will increase RPM speed as actual car speed remains the same.. example.. a b18b w/ a LS trannsmission in 5th gear @ 80mph will read 3500rpm... while the same engine b18b.. with a GSR transmission in 5th gear @ 80mph will read 4000rpm.. thus You are closer to the Peak torque of the engine which in turn will make it easier to accelerate with the gsr tranny since it has closer gears.. PLEASE FLAME ME

you new tranny has the same gearings except for 5th gear.

BTW old tranny would likely only cost $50 to fix if it is the 3-4 shifter fork.
